TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. PRICE & PAYMENT

1.1 Quotation Validity
All price quotations are valid for 30 calendar days from the date of issue.

1.2 Pricing & Delivery Terms
Quoted prices are based on the delivery terms agreed upon at the time of order (e.g., Ex Works, Delivery Duty Paid, etc.). All applicable charges, such as customs clearance and local fees, will be clearly specified according to the selected delivery terms. There will be no hidden costs beyond what is stated in the quotation.

1.3 Payment Structure
A 70% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all custom or made-to-order purchases. The remaining 30% must be settled no later than 10 working days prior to delivery.

1.4 Ready Stock Orders
For stock items, full payment is required. Alternatively, customers may reserve items with a 50% advance, with the balance due 7 days before delivery.

1.5 Ownership Rights
All goods remain the property of House of Decor until full payment is received.

1.6 Late Payment Penalty
A late payment fee of 5% per month will be applied to any overdue balances.

2. EXCHANGES & RETURNS

2.1 Final Sales
Once an invoice or deposit receipt is issued, the sale is considered final. No refunds will be issued.

2.2 Non-Returnable Items
Custom orders, discounted items, and used products are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.

2.3 Defective Items
Refunds will only be processed if a defective item cannot be repaired or replaced. Items must be returned in original packaging with proof of purchase.

2.4 Reporting Defects
All manufacturing defects must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

3. CANCELLATION

3.1 Order Cancellation
Orders may be canceled in writing prior to production commencement. A confirmation will be sent within 48 hours of the cancellation request.

3.2 Refund on Cancellation
If the order has not entered production, eligible refunds will be processed after deducting a 20% administrative and design fee.

4. CREDIT NOTES

4.1 Validity
Issued credit notes are valid for 6 months from the date of issuance.

4.2 Redemption Policy
Credit notes must be presented at the time of use. They are non-transferable and non-refundable.

5. RESERVATION & STORAGE

5.1 Reservation Terms
Items may be held for 24 hours without charge. Beyond this period, a 50% deposit is required to secure the reservation.

5.2 Storage Charges
Complimentary storage is available for 1 week post-purchase. After that, storage is charged at AED 15 per cubic meter per day.

6. CUSTOMIZATION & MODIFICATIONS

6.1 Change Requests
Modifications are accepted only before production begins.

6.2 Finalization Clause
Once an order is confirmed, it cannot be altered, exchanged, or refunded.

7. SHIPPING, DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

7.1 Delivery Timelines
Estimated delivery dates are shared upon order confirmation and may vary due to external factors.

7.2 Access Responsibility
Clients are responsible for ensuring delivery access. Additional fees may apply if obstacles prevent smooth delivery.

8. ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS

8.1 On-Site Inspection
Clients must inspect goods upon delivery and record any concerns on the delivery note.

8.2 Defect Notification
Any product defects must be reported within 7 days of receipt to qualify for service or replacement.

9. DELAYS BEYOND CONTROL

9.1 Force Majeure
House of Decor shall not be held liable for delays resulting from unforeseen events including natural disasters, strikes, or logistical issues. Efforts will be made to keep clients informed and updated.

10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

10.1 Design Rights
Design services are billable. All intellectual property rights remain with House of Decor until full payment is received.

11. WARRANTY

11.1 Product Assurance
All products are warranted to be free from material or manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the invoice date.

12. LEGAL FRAMEWORK

12.1 Agreement
By signing the sales order, clients acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions in full.

12.2 Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates or the Republic of India, depending on the location of the transaction or fulfillment. Disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in either Sharjah (UAE) or Jaipur (India), as applicable.
